Anyone have any kind of information if I sign up on work comp, will that affect any type of invite for my home comp with better specs?

Been trying to ask GW2 twitter thing for a while, but no answer.

Generally Betas don't only test high performance PCs. They also want a lot of low to med end PCs to gauge performance requirements and ferret out all of the issues with driver compatibility and other odds and ends.

Yeah, I figured that much. I guess I should have been more clear. I know it JUST came out, but since I signed up on my work comp, if I get in, would I be able to play the beta on my home comp with the same invite? Even though the specs are better at home. It's confusing a little, but I'm very curious.

I signed up about 10 minutes ago. Waited about two minutes, checked my email and it was there. Not much else to say, but we'll see...

I'm quite confused about the NDA to be fair. Why would they have a like button to post to peoples facebooks. Is it alright as long as we dont annouce if we've been selected? Should i be concenered about guildies saying they have signed up? Will i be allowed to take screenshots to keep on my pc during the event as long as i don't post them on sites, will they be allowed on sites in future after gw2 release? I don't wanna break any rules.

If I recall correctly from the press beta, screenshots were not allowed to be taken. Whether that will hold true for further beta testing will likely be disclosed in the NDA you have to sign to participate, so if you get selected be sure to read that agreement carefully.

Most closed Betas allow you to say if you've been selected. If you ARE selected you'll probably be given information about what you can and cannot say. If you aren't then it won't matter.

Signed up and received the confirmation email PDQ. Hoping for an invite - but only if they're looking for lower end machines as I currently play on my laptop (until the desk top is replaced) and while it runs GW1 fine, I cannot imagine it playing GW2 to specs.

But when I try to sign up again, it says the e-mail adress has already been used to register a guild wars 2 beta account.

Does that mean they got my info and my confirmation e-mail for being considered into the beta is simply delayed by...more then 5 hours?
Same here,

I'm so sad
My girlfriend did get her confirmation in minutes though.
You know those times you should be really happy for someone, but for some obscure reason you're not :P

This one doesn't.

Do I need to sign an NDA to participate in a Guild Wars 2 Beta Event?

Yes. All participants are required to sign an NDA. All content in the Guild Wars 2 Beta Events is confidential. If you are participating in a Guild Wars 2 Beta Event, you should also not disclose that you are a participant.

I expect they would want you to use the machine they approved for the beta. Perhaps you should apply from your home machine also?

Yeah, I just signed up again with my other email address from home comp. I hope that doesn't screw my chances since I've signed up twice now.

I don't think you will mess up your chances. You used two different email addresses from two different computers.

Ugh. I signed up but the email I've always used it extremely old aol email lol. Had to make a new password again for it and haven't gotten an email yet. It's only been 20 minutes but it's scaring me after people say they got theirs instantly

Over 5hrs without even getting the confirmation email. I'm guessing this is a bad sign. I tried signing up again just to make sure I didn't mess up my email, but it says I have already signed up with it.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone outside of the US, say Canada, gotten confirmed/accepted yet
